According to a recent interview released by Mr. Bigland and just published by an Italian magazine:
production will start in first quarter for Europe and second quarter for Nafta market.
Specifically February is scheduled for production start for European market with official launch in all markets in March/April (March for Italy).
May is the planned production month for Nafta market, with launch on end June-early July.
In the meantime the production of the 100 planned Quadrifoglio launch edition (EU) and some demo for the main European dealership is planned for the month of December 2015 so well before the above planned schedule.Hope this help to understand better the situation.

That picture ought to be from the L.A auto show right? I went down to L.A during the Thanksgiving weekend to the show to see the Giulia, and i have to say, it is nice. There were 3 different color cars on display,red, blue and dark gray. The gray colored car really stands out. Now ,it is up to FCA to do the good marketing job for the car.Of course, many people would prefer the base model to the top line.

Let's hope this car is worth the wait and not another disappointing Alfa. I somehow have hope this time they have got it right. I would certainly rather have this in my garage than a Jaguar XE. Even its interior looks better executed than the Jag.

In all honesty, and as an owner, if the Alfa 4C is anything to go by, after the Giulia, BMW will be better off focusing more on their 'I' line.

And, trust me, when I'm not happy with my ownership experience I'm the first one to criticize it, out and loud!

The Alfa 4C is the best car I've ever owned and I've owned a few since 2008:

Do you mean the Giulia QV?

Absolutely, if I needed one or wanted to spend that kind of money on a 4-seater to have next to my 4C on the garage.

many tks..I just wanted an opinion since you seem happy with Alfa and the overall quality/performances characteristics.So I was just curious if you would order a car, so new and in Launch Edition form (really these will be the first Giulia on the market) being this a completely new product coming by Alfa.Tks again.
Btw a dealer, well known in North of Italy, will receive in January (one month later than planned delivery time to be precise) his Launch Edition so we will see soon how she performs ..
