so I was watching Evo's 2013 Car of the Year, and the two big knocks Jethro had was 1) the engine noise being unpleasant, and 2) unassisted steering was unpredicatable in its feels. Those were enough to take it out of contention rather quickly. Of course, not having driven the car I can't determine steering feel so I'll give Bovingdon the benefit of doubt on that one, but the engine noise, to me, sounded pleasant in that video.

Did anyone notice Alfa changed the headlights? Now it looks like a finished product, and not some prototype.

Champagne and caviar looks, fish and chips powertrain.

The gearbox probably Martin, but the Multiair engines are as fine as they get. I test drove an 1.4 Multiair turbo on a Fiat Bravo and felt very, very sweet. :)

And yes, now it looks like a finished product with those headlights.

Ι thought it was only available with the 1.75 TBi engine, not the smaller, 1.4 one.

Gianclaudio is referring to the general sweetness of the MultiAir engines overall - across the range...

Go drive a PDK Cayman and you'll know what I mean. :)

Of course Martin, I completely understand and that's why I think the 4C is too expensive, but my point was, like you further say, that Multiair 4 in line engines are more than a fish and chip category, compared to other 4 in line.

Faster than an Elise, on the same level as an E92 M3 comeptiton pack. Excellent brakes, the dual clutch and lack of limited slip diferential are the achilles heel. (at least that it's what my basic french tells me :D )
