911 [Official] 2021 Porsche 911 GT3 (992 Series)

The Porsche 911 model series (pronounced Nine Eleven or in German: Neunelf) is a family of German two-door, high performance rear-engine sports cars, introduced in September 1964 by Porsche AG of Stuttgart, Germany.
I agree, but I wish they’d really do a touring version with a sunroof and a softer suspension, I don’t care about ring times on this car.
TBH the B roads are not getting better, therefore a softer suspension which filters all the potholes would be much better.
The N/A flat 6 also sounds much better than any turbo.

This spec is magnificently understated and has strong attention to detail. The older I get, the more I appreciate understated sports car/supercar specs. You can drive this all day completely under the radar, and only get attention from connaisseurs.

They force you into a Turbo or Turbo S.

That said the 992.2 is apparently softer than the 992.1 due to quite extensive suspension revisions. Have you driven both?

GT3 Touring allocations are literally Gold here. But I pulled the plug when I realised so many options I consider necessary for a daily, aren't available on the Touring.

No, haven’t driven it yet.

But I generally prefer softer suspensions.

The Turbo S is to wide for my roads.

The perfect 911 would be under 1.8m wide.

They considered offering 2 different suspension tunes on the standard 992.2 GT3 and the Touring. From what they had learnt from some other 911 variants, they managed to soften the suspension while improving dynamics and lap times, so ended up using the same softened set up on both variants of the 992.2.

I would love to drive different variants back to back, but they never have GT3's, Turbos or Turbo S demos here. You're lucky to find a GTS demo at times and they usually only have an S on hand for test drives.
