M3/M4 [Official] 2021 BMW M3 and M4 [G80 & G82]

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

Seeing the positivity that it has generated in everyone and that I suppose will be reflected in sales, it would not be unreasonable to put it to run professionally in one of those championships that there are GT3 or GT4, (as they do only with the M4) it would be striking, I think Volvo did it years ago

I think that was DTM, maybe @Matski can confirm. But I highly doubt that would fit the bill today.

Volvo ran an 850 wagon in BTCC, so have Honda and Subaru. I don't believe they were run in the DTM, but I could be wrong. Running an M4 wagon in BTCC would be a bit pointless given it would have to run the same power unit as the 330e saloon WSR run.

A touring bodystyle would be against the rules in GT3 or GT4. Someone could adapt it to either spec and run it in the Nurburgring endurance series as an SPX entry... or one of the 'lower' classes.

I hope BMW increase production. This car needs to be flooded on to the market so that as many people as possible have an opportunity to own one. Thankfully it just launched and will likely be in production for 6-7 years.

It seems that it was yesterday when it came out that everyone said that the owners would change and shrink the grills and all those who change them do so for even more radical ones, how wrong many people are

Yep. Exactly. Complete bullshit. The reason is, that people nowadays can't simply say: "Hm, that's not my taste, will see, if I change my mind" and then shut up! They project their taste and fantasy vocally to the whole world ... although most of them were never planning to buy one ... and predicted/hoped for a sales desaster for the manufacturer. Just insane!

If anything it gives the M3 and M4 that much needed visual aggression to symbolise its Power.
Yes there are far too many people out there to realise that Twitter,The internet or LinkedIn does not represent every factor of reality.

The Touring will be rare! My local dealer has only taken delivery of 1 so far! Build slots are extremely few.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
