M3/M4 [Official] 2021 BMW M3 and M4 [G80 & G82]

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

As sedans go, I prefer the current M5 - especially the CS which I rate as the best sporting sedan ever made.
I couldn't agree with you more. The F90 M5 has the edge for me from just about every angle. Its proportions are vastly more handsome - and restrained, if that's your kinda thing - than its in-house brethren. Of course looks are a subjective thing but just about everywhere else, the F90 CS really does take the prize as one of the all-time greats.

The Touring is just so f$cking bad ass, but with a really lovely ass I mean lol. Best looking estate ever.

I expect the Touring to be lovely to drive but with AWD, bulkier rear, more weight and different suspension, it won't feel as crisp as the RWD coupe and saloon. However it will feel much more entertaining and precise than the X4M.

I wonder if the rear suspension will be more stiffer to handle the extra rear weight when fully loaded. Also wondering if a fully loaded M4 Touring will feel like the older 911s with more oversteery rear ends. It could turn out to be more of a rear biased drive than the coupe and saloon, but probably with less agility.

Small changes to suspension, bracing and even software can make a biggest difference in how a car feels to drive. When choosing between two variants that look identical to the naked eye, I recommend test driving both. Ideally back to back.

When can we expected press reviews? The car was unveiled almost 6 months ago.

Malachite is cool (I like it more than IOMG) ... but British Racing Green would have been even cooler

This Interlagos-Blue is a nice M color! But one of the nicest signature colors of E46 M3 times is imho Laguna-Seca-Blue (LSB)! The more so it is weird, that LSB has been completely removed from the Individual color palette ... and can't be afaik ordered anymore.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
