M3/M4 [Official] 2021 BMW M3 and M4 [G80 & G82]

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M

I love BMW. Most of the time. For cars like this in particular. I'm even warming to that non-Hof-kink C-pillar and rising beltline. WTF is wrong with me?

People often make excuses for brands that they like. It's okay, it's just cars at the end of the day.

Deal is signed. -10% discount too, not too bad for a CS model. In standard color will arrive in April, while if I will choose (if available) a special color, I will have to wait probably a couple of months more. It will all depend on the special color they will introduce for the Touring CS...if nice enough or just another boring one as for other CS. When I sew the car for the first time in Munich, at the BMW Welt, in just plain white color, I found it not so nice. I have to admit that the design has grown on me after so long time and now I am ready to sell my Giulia Quattroformaggi manual gear, after 7 years and 134.000 free of problems km, coming back to Emme Cars after many years (after the E46 and E92 M3).
Fixed😊...

Congratulations. I've seen the M4 CS in white. The colour makes the black stripes on the hood pop. I liked it.

M3CS in white, looked okay.

Not for me... E92 3er/M3 Coupe was peak for me. Didn't like the more fastback roof of the F32/F82, and the G22/G82 took it even further looking like a Mustang without the Hofmeister kink. G20/80 is where it's at.

If it wasn't for that horrifying front end, this would be such a good looking car. easily the best proportions of any current BMW.
A Personal choice. But I think its kidney grille gives the M3/M4 the aggression it has always lacked to balance with its performance.

I guess its a personal thing. I always liked the M-performance and AMGs because they didn't look obvious. Having the M3 grille be so different to the regular 3 series, makes it very obvious that you have an M3.
Meanwhile the F82 unless you paid attention to the details, you wouldn't really know.

I would think the frameless almost squared diamond shape stands out more distinctively of the more octagonal kidney grille of the 4.

I know it's been done to death,
That what car fanatics think or if you follow G80 hashtags on instagram and Facebook but in reality they are less common than you think.

In some photos the grille looks out of place but instead of trying to conceal it with dark colours, it's best to augment it with a CSL grille and other bits. Own the aggression!

It's also easy to tell the M3/M4 apart from M340i or lesser models with aftermarket bits.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
