Discovery Sport [Official] 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport

The Land Rover Discovery Sport (internal code L550) is a compact luxury crossover SUV produced by Jaguar Land Rover since 2014, under their Land Rover marque, and since 2017 their best-selling model. Introduced in late 2014, it replaces the Freelander in a revised Land Rover range of vehicles, with Discovery joining Range Rover as a sub-brand. Contrary to its predecessor, the slightly larger car is also available in a seven seat layout.

I like the look of the exterior of the Discovery Sport, but the interior to me is a big let down especially after the great interiors witnessed on the RR Evogue, RR Sport and RR. In my eyes the Freelander 2 dash and switches looks better from a quality point of view, Discovery Sport interior looks cheap especially the center console vent surrounds. Nice things are the 7 seats, the updated chassis, 9 speed auto and extra space and versatility of the interior. Another thing that confuses me is that this Land Rover looks from the same family as Range Rover current models in its looks but I thought that Land Rover and Range Rover are normally supposed to be different.

The concept's rear was the most exciting part for looking neat and unique, but they chose go family look for the production model's rear, which is a let down.

Nice. A very attractive design. Looks very neat yet simple. IMO, Land Rover has the best-looking line up in the SUV segment over all.

However, in their physical appearance, all of them seem to have a bit of 'Ford' essence in there. At least in the exterior.

Long as you realize that Ford stole the look from Land Rover, not the other way around.

Just absolutely world class exterior, and interior. Hope the engine, drivetrain and reliability aren't too serious of a let down.

How does one invest in a Land Rover Dealership? Now is the time. This thing is going to sell and sell.

This awakens all of my worst consumerist tendencies. Damn you Land Rover, I don't need anything else on my wish list. Certainly not another vehicle. I think I will be looking for a woman who drives one...yeah, that's the plan. That way she can be stuck with the depreciation and the crappy reliability. Genius!

As with the Jaguar XE, I don't know what their finance department are thinking of.

This car seems overpriced to start with and the options and their respective prices are ridiculous and this is a Freelander replacement?

I like these more straightforward wheels. Great looking in what looks like base trim.

Here's one I passed on the motorway.

Thought it looked like an Evoque initially but then noticed the Defender/Freelander like stance
