C-Class W204 Official: 2011 C-class (W204 facelift)

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W204) is the third generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. It was manufactured and marketed by Mercedes-Benz in sedan/saloon (2007–2014), station wagon/estate (2008–2014) and coupé (2011–2015) bodystyles, with styling by Karlheinz Bauer and Peter Pfeiffer. The C-Class was available in rear- or all-wheel drive, the latter marketed as 4MATIC. The W204 platform was also used for the E-Class Coupé (C207).

Up close gives me a better perspective of the C's interior. Seems like the materials, although major improvements, don't appear as rich as some of the interiors it emulates (E-Class, CLS, etc.). They seem a little utilitarian in comparison, which is about right, as it wouldn't make sense if you could truly get the same interior in such a cheaper car.

I will definitely be looking at a C350 Coupe when it comes out. C-Class has finally arrived after nearly 30 years of hit and missess.

The US press release is somewhat ambiguous on engine/transmission info. Is the below correct?

All models standard with 7G-Tronic(?)
C 300 standard with 4MATIC(?)

C 250 Sport (1.8L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine)
C 300 4MATIC Sport (3.0L NA V6)
C 350 Sport (3.5L NA V6)

Are they now calling the existing C350CDI the C300CDI?
Seems like its the same engine, 231bhp V6 diesel.
Is this to make way for a more powerful diesel or am I reading it wrong?

Yes this is correct, that is the U.S. lineup all with 7-speeds.

I was gonna say how I can't believe we're gonna have 4-Banger C-Classes buzzing around now in mass (not that there's anything wrong with that, for this type of car), but then I realized, weren't he vast majority and volume of W203's 4 Cylinders?
