So, my local dealer just told me that the pricing for the 2012 C-coupe was just released for the US.

C250 starts @ $ 37,220
C350 starts @ $ 42,375
C63 starts @ $ 61,430

All said, that's a $ 3K-$4K premium over the sedan.

I'd rather get a Camaro SS. I guess I just have different preferences when it comes to 2-Doors. With 4-Doors I value the luxury and serenity/refinement far more.

K - A coming from you i dont believed. you must be on something today.....jeje. Well knowledge people dont get a Mercedes just for the looks...... I invite you to drive a Chevy and a Mercedes from the 70s and then you will have your answer. Mercedes is Mercedes no matter how many door you open my friend.

Lol. I understand that, of course, as I obviously would rather drive a Mercedes than anything else. Just that the C63 Coupe is a pointless car for me. If I want a 2-Door, for all its lacking in certain areas (doors, room), it needs to be something a bit extreme in one way or another. Either bizarrely luxurious and/or unconventional, or super raw and sporty or something. The C-Class 4-Door with any motor can serve a purpose to me, the 2-Door in non-AMG form just doesn't I guess. Worst is that it doesn't even hold a styling superiority over the Sedan, IMO.

Well understood , keep the faith , dont abandon our favorite brand , or you will regreted later and then come back sorry. Lol.

I know we still have a little way to go before this car lands in North America, but I noticed a difference on the interior. One site shows that there is a rolling cover for the drink holders.

Another site shows an open one.

Anyone know which one is correct? Or maybe it's in an option package or something? Not really a big deal, just a little curious which way they are going with this.

The sliding cover is the European model. Americans get the bigger cup holders with the chrome surrounding.

I actually like this car A LOT! I could see myself driving one, quite easily.

Me too! Local dealer has two beautiful C-coupe's (AMG Sportpack) in the corner window of the showroom L&R with a new ML inbetween. Unfortunately the latter (ML) apart from the gorgeous cabin the styling/design does not float my boat.
