as always, this car will look a million times better IRL, it's a good step up and together with the X1, X5 and X6, you can mock bmw all you want, but they totally dominate the SUV market, and kinda made it what it is.

The only thing I'm missing are LED turning and rear lights. But well, they need something they can offer with a facelift.

haha, yeah I hate it when they do that. The rear of the FL X5 looks a million times better now.

The only thing I don't really like about the new X3 is that in 4-5 years time, we will STILL have the E90 3er style airco buttons and stuff. Those should have been new as well, like the 5er/7er with black panel tech. They raided the wrong parts bin....

Well, well, well, what have we got here... I would say we have a great SUV! The exterior design is a huge leap foeward compared to the outgoing X3 and the interior looks like it was given a fair amount of uniqueness.

Most of all, the overall design has kept some of the raw and tough elements of the previous X3, while also adding a sense of maturity. I think reviewers will find this to be true regarding more than just the design.

I just love the rear and the side profile. The interior looks Premium and familiar

The front end...I will reserve my opinion for later...have to get used to it.

This is often the case with new Bimmers. But I have to say, I instantly like the front of the new X3. I had to get used more to the front of the F10 strangely enough. Now I like it though, you will have the same with the X3 in a couple of days...

when I hear raw & tough I thought the X3 interior was given a LR defender kind of treatment guys what is so tough & raw about the X3 interior ? Its fresh & stylish, I don't see what you are referring to.

BTW the car is very very handsome, and I agree with klier, MB fans don't need to bash the X3, please bear in mind horrible the old model was (no offense scott )

Its better than repeating the same mistake twice (i.e. MB A-class, where old & new look like a$$ ). Actually 3 times if you cound the B class

Seeing kliers comparo..there is even some Q5 in the exterior of the X3..
the GLK is just something diffrent..
But not great looking either..

But then again i dont give a flying **** about this segment of cars..i will never buy something like this..

Your reasoning would have been correct, had people said that the new X3 is good looking, not better looking... because better only relates back to the old X3, it is not a stand alone judgement

I was thinking that of the Q5, since it resembles a bar of soap...GLK is individual, unique and quite nice in the right suit with matching rims...
