BTW, on the old CLS I didn't like the frontlights, and on this new CLS I have to say I don't really like the backlights. It's not bad like the frontlights of the old CLS were bad, but still they should have given this car the backlights of the Shooting Break Concept. Would have been perfect.

The CLS's backlights look WAY better than the S.B. Less fussy, more pure and simple. I actually like the shape of them, good design and execution.

Well I like the lights of the concept a bit better, but other than that: look at how much more sophisticated the bumper design of the actual production CLS is over the one of the SB Concept! Pretty amazing...

Was away for a longer time and just missed this!! This car is absolutely gorgeous. Probably the best looking car, Mercedes is ever going to build. Was blown away by the first CLS and this one is even more stunning. Would have loved to see a more classy interior, but this one is a great improvement over the one of the W212!

yes, it says, "tomorrow, monday". let's wait a little bit. but those pictures of the amg sports package, wow. a real fantastic car. the exterieur but also the interieur, love this car!!!

Ok so here is the story..

Its obviously some kind of official press release thingy for the CLS in sindlefingen today i guess.. there is a silver and red one at hand
Pictures and info will be released 00 tonight, i hope this is the full press release with configurator and everything

And if this is not the date for the full press release, then 15th september most certainly is, cause orders start from then
But it makes more sence to release all the info before you open up for orders, so my bet is on 00:00

Still can't tell if I "love or hate" the car.... Well, I definitely don't hate it overall, but I guess some elements just aren't sitting right.

I do know that the newer M-B designs are so epic in their shadow-play, it's just sick.

I also know that the rear chrome LONG a$$ strip on the new CLS's deck is maybe the most unrefined, crude thing M-B has ever done to one of their designs.... The way it just abruptly ends, making so sense or uniform with any other design elements, is also, just sick. It reminds me of something that is under construction, like it needs to be "sanded down", not the finished product.

Wow....ordinary and plain.....Those souped up CGI press pics with special lighting are not at all visible anymore in normal light on a parking lot.

And, it looks like those fancy LED lights are a must. Too bad 90% won't order them. Should be standard.

Also, those pics appear to be taken around 10 km from where I live. It's in Scheveningen, The Hague. Right next to the beach. Funny stuff, I could have seen it driving around. (I did see the CLS a couple of time last week on the Nurburgring, but with much more camo still....)
