XJ Official: 2010 Jaguar XJ (X351)

The Jaguar XJ is a series of mid-size/full-size luxury cars produced from 1968 to 2019. It was produced across four basic platform generations (debuting in 1968, 1986, 2003, and 2009) with various updated derivatives of each. From 1970, it was Jaguar's flagship four-door model. The original model was the last Jaguar saloon to have been designed under the leadership of Sir William Lyons, the company's founder, and the model has been featured in countless media and high-profile appearances.

I'm a little more pessimistic than most...

Now that I can see the front...

Looks awful...very chunky and not very attractive. Headlights look like a renault.

Interior- Meh. I'd like some wood on the dash.

Rear- Getting better.

I would take a Lexus LS or a 7 series over this any day, but that's just my two cents.

The interior looks great...

This is the front's worst angle IMO. The hood looks weird where it meets the headlights.

I also think the jag logo should be in the middle of the grill and bigger.

Told you about the rear..its superb..
Interior is OK..i dont like the wood under the windows..
But seriously i would pick this over the A8 and the 7er i think..:)

I expect a flagship to have wood on the center console...that really annoys me as to why Jag didn't put any...I'd take a 7er over this...

Geez, it's awesome with all that wood inside. And the way the wood goes around the dashboard, reminds me of the good old Rover 414, and it's the good old british way!

Beautiful cat, er I mean car :D

Like its predecessor, the XJ's chassis features aluminum construction (augmented with bits of magnesium and composite alloys), which enables this big boy to be tremendously light. Jaguar's managing director Mike O'Driscoll confided to us that the XJ's body-in-white is actually lighter than that of a Mini Cooper. All-in, the company figures this new model will weigh slightly less than the significantly smaller XF – making it at least 300 pounds lighter than its chief competitors (primarily the BMW 7 Series, Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Audi A8), though the difference can be as much as to 570 pounds. Fully 50% of the aluminum in the XJ is composed of post-recycled stock, and 85% of the total car is recyclable.

Serious props to Jaguar.

Loving the originality, the fit and finish of that interior looks immense.
