So there it is then, without the anticipated hexagon grill. The current single frame grill feels very 2003 and needs to be revamped. It's also no point in Audi enrolling us in teasers as they've virtually been made dull by the recent overload of elaborate schemes by automakers, in hyping their own cars.

That's why I'm hoping that the car in that pic of the AUDI exec is just a mule to get people thinking.

I am sorry but you are wrong.
Last time it was the Audi A8 who came with the SFG*.
but the only model that was a accessable with this feature was the 6.0 W12 and back in the days that made the A8 really special!
now the 2004 model is still sleeker imo.

No I don't think it was ...
if I am wrong and I may be, then the A8 has had 2 FL's
cause just one day they fitted the new SFG to all their models and
infact changed the steeringwheel to the one Audi A6 / A8 W12 had.

I don't know who to put it but the "real" facelift was just a "few" months ago.
what They did was change the MMI and new tailights + foglights ?

It looks good, but just plain. Nothing about it says "Look at me and forget the S and the 7. Audi needs to get a little more creative and come out the box if they want to increase sales. Yes, they probably will keep their traditional customers, but I don't see people running towards this car especially since the new Porsche, Jaguar and so many other good large models are out now. They gotta get more competitive.

Audi needs to get out of the rectangular headlamp and tailamp design.



It looks okay- reminds me too much of the A4. As HOH pointed out earlier, Audi needs to come out with some new designs if they want to reach their very optimistic sales goals. The A8 has always struck me as a flagship that does everything well but is lost in the sea of high-strung competitors. So many of the A8's competitors are so advanced in design and tech (S, XJ, 7er) and the A8 needs to get a little more adventurous in design in order to really stand out.

If this is it, this car already falls behind in design, at least from the front. I think AUDI is getting lazy with their Copy-paste designs.

But like Just_me said, I don't think it's real either.
