I like that shot of the SLR's engine. There's a silver one at the dealer here and the engine compartment is open too.

I don't know if you've ever noticed, but that yellow sticker above the wheel well says "Battery is in the trunk". Do they really need to tell us that when you can't see a battery in the engine compartment? And where else would they put it?

Yeah, yeah, the interior is great, but outside, regardless of colour, the car looks "ordinary", imo... And i really can't believe that whoever spent a lot of cash for that car couldn't get himself nicer rims than these crappy ones...

sure it looks like all other S from the outside.. but thats the deal with 600´s descrete luxury.. gotta love it

lol the W220 also came with very wierd 600 wheels.. i guess its something MB always do.. they make the rimms on the 600 elegant.. and not excitiing..
but i dont like it..
anyways who cares.. if you can buy a car for 150K euro.. you can surely get some rimms

Great pictures of the S600 Artist. Personally, I really like the new S600 rims. I think they are proper and give a stout look to the car, the way every V12 Benz should look. Leave the job of more lean stylish wheels to AMG or sport modeled Mercedes.

I wouldnt do that, "black" is the color for a Merc. White is sometimes very nice but, it will be problem every time you drive it....

Black is very common for the S here. You might be mistaken for a car service sometimes .
I like other colors on the S, especially white. Jack's color is just perfect
