really, no surprise, we've seen pretty much everything in concept. front is handsome the rear, at first i thought it is a lil disappointing, tho those pics from live presenation have better angle of rear view which made me all excited again.

Amen. They just keep surprising us.

All due respect, there are no surprises here. In fact, it was exactly what we all expected - to a tee.

As shonguiz said, this is just a modernized TT. However, the modernization process is very nice, with some extremely tight details. Take the mirror-blinkers, for instance - they look like someting you'd see on a concept car.

Based on raw appeal - if I had to choose between a Z4, TT and a SLK right now, I'd jump in the TT. I'll even cross shop this thing when I'm ready to get a new car. However, I think the charm of the new TT will run dry within 3 years time.

WOW... very nice!

The front is very very hot... the rear is very nice too. Only the profile seems weird, but it always did (in photos) on the old TT as well.

My girlfriend will love this (TT is her favorite car)...

This is interesting:

The body is constructed in the ASF Space Frame design developed by Audi and consists of aluminium and steel. This is the first time that it has combined different materials alongside each other. 69 percent of the superstructure is made of aluminium. The steel components making up the remaining 31 percent are to be found at the rear end, so as to ensure balanced distribution of the axle loads

Similar to what BMW have done:

Introducing the new 5 Series, BMW is becoming the first car maker in the world to use a new, trendsetting combination of steel and aluminium structures on the body-in-white: the combination of an aluminium front section with the remaining bodyshell around the A-pillars made of steel.

okey now it one thing to like it.. but how many can see them self driving aroud in one and owning it..

I sure as hell dont.. the same goes for the SLK ( maybe not the AMG) and the Z4

If I was single and want a 2 seat and a second car, then I can see myself driving one :)

well that says it.. many ifs n butts before you can go and buy such a car:D

It`s nice! I thought the taillights were a little weak but thay suit the refreshed body very well.
This might be my second favorite car behind the SLK55. I still like the SLK`s interior a little better. Welcome back Audiholic!

not very interesting.....
Well see how this car does against the Z4 coupe i suppose..

Interior is great. Not terribly bad on the exterior either, certainly a vast improvement over the old.

i love it all.....period yes and the rear is amazing....in fact i think this is way beeter than the Z4 in looks.

I think the new TT even looks better then the SLK, which I love. Z4 has always been and will always be.. UGLY. Imo

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
