I share the same sentiment. If this thing could out handle a Z4, that would be a dream come true. Detractors for that comment can now enter... I really can't wait for the S line pack for this car, will totally make the TT look 100x more sexy than it already is. I'm kinda disapointed in the wheel choices though.

i see a lot of hints of the previous A6 in the way the rear is sculpted
all other things being equa, i think the ineterior's lay out is a bit messy, but its a paretty fine thing

Yeah the players got some free Audis IIRC. A lot of them chose S4s and even a few chose RS6s, but others went with diesel models.

This may be a silly question...but does Audi have the service facilities worldwide to repair aluminium structures? I know that they have to go to big efforts when it comes to repairing A8s, but TTs will be selling in infinitely greater numbers, be getting pranged and needing repairs for tricky aluminium...

^Isnt that what the body shop is for? If your bending the frame then you'd take your car to the body shop, right?

I believe aluminium takes a lot more skill to work with, not just any metal worker at a body shop knows how to deal with it.
