Like Martin says , 500+ hp in a sedan are useless but since Mercedes and BMW already offered such "useless" cars , Audi would have to do the same sooner or later.

Well i had 05 e55 and let me tell you 516 trq at 2000 rpms is SO MUCH FREAKING fun you have no idea... Wait till the benz fires back with Twin turbo 6.3!!!

580hp..god damn..MB better rethink..if they belive the next E63 will do good with 550.. its time to take the V8 to 600hp

If AMG does that with the E60 Bi-Turbo, what of the S65.. it`s going to need a boost or a new engine.

The M5 E39 with 400 Bhp was the ultimate sports saloon, but then Audi turned up at the party with 50 more Bhp and four-wheel-drive. Soon the M5 became a dot in the rear-view mirror... still a close dot, though.

I think you mean the M5 became a dot in the windshield.
C&D, same-day test, 60-150 mph:
M5 - 24.3s
RS6 - 26.5s

But yes, the Mercedes demolished them both - 20.2s.

Just cant liken to the A6 design... its not the details but more the overall design.. i dont like the glass house.. reminds me of lwb australian cars... the interior is a nice place to be... i have been inside a A6 and yes, i liked it... it felt very 90s BMW.... a good thing

I personally couldnt care less about the engine... its the whole package for me.... and the M5 wins that race everyday and night for me

But then again i guess it is my favourite/dream car

Audi isn`t going to show it`s grand prise 4-door to the press under testing conditions before the debut!!

Audi has a way of bringing the "Bling" when it counts!! RS4 still my favoured in all departments(Looks, performance ext.) Pity you'll be hard pressed to fit a bi-turbo V10 under the RS4's bonnet ....

Ok I like the RS4 to but why would you want to shoe-horn the 5.0liter DOHC Bi-Turbo V10
in the RS4.

its too bad audi introduces these cars at the very end of that platforms life span....the a4 will be out of business in a year or so-giving the RS4 only about a 2.5 year lifespan. Looks like they're doin the same with the RS6.

You can say what you want, but this car is going to be a monter, weather you think its "old" or not. Imo, the A6 is still a very modern car, and even though its some years after the model introduction, I think they are going to release the RS6 at the same time as the A6 facelift, which is going to give the car even more modern look. I really cant wait for this car. Its for sure going to be one of the greatest cars ever so far!
