This looks bad... why the kink on the rear window? what are those flame surfacing lines doing? nothing against flame surfacing of course but it doesn't match the plain/clean design theme...well, it just ruins it imo.
Front overhang looks bad...probably the weight distributions are fine but in terms of look, it doesn't look good. Yes you might say the 6series or the next 6series, even being a bmw, got a rather long front overhang, but as a big coupe, that's one of the element of being a big GT, and is matched by the rest of the car. while this is apparently just another Audi with a long front overhang.

Ugh - again that personal pet hate of mine; another fastback!

No, it looks absolutely horrible. Much worse than A5 SB, even.

Like the A5SB, the A7 will require large rims to look it's best. I'm not saying that everyone will appreicate it's looks in much the same way as not everyone likes the CLS or 5GT, they all have their customers.

If I only had the money... !

How long is it to release date?

nice chops coming in...
very close to reality.

:eusa_clap

well, I said ALMOST, didn't I?!! different front spoiler, similar headlights, mirrors, same shape...
use more imagination!
:t-hands:

so a sedan, between the A6 and A8?

are you pulling our socks? where have you been all this time? too much concentarting on bmw, ha?! :D
basically, yes - a sedan with low-slang-coupe-like roof line, 5 doors, 4 seats (a rear bench as an option), awesome looks and good dynamics on the road..
keep up man!!!
 :t-cheers:

I am trying to keep up, keeping up to the point of this car. I can't be the only one thinking this is just one car too much can I? So Audi wants A5 sportback, A6, A7 and A8. That's 4 sedans in a very tight area, and they're thinking sales won't get influenced? And seriously, if you're going for awesome looks, they might just for a change, want to try something different than what's already out there. and as for low-slung, doesn't really look that low compared to the allroad next to it.

IMO, you want to get the sporty rich dude, make a coupé out of the A8, not another sedan to confuse them.

well, audi did their own research and came to conclusion that big coupes are for old people which they don't want to build cars for. who know if it's right! maybe you should apply for a job there and convince them they were wrong...

something to help you out:

is that so, mind sharing that research?
also, It's an honest personal opinion. Like some say, you don't have to swallow everything your brand says.

edit, what's your opinion on old, what's old? because...

You better accept it, BMW is planning exactly the same.

Why bring up BMW? I didn't do that, nor did I compare them, or say their strategy is better (what is that strategy that's the same like this, don't know what BMW is doing that's exactly the same? ) they have in mind And since when do 2 wrongs make a right?

I think what I´ve said about BMw makes sense. It´s just the trend of the industry, that´s my point. I thinks as you that there are going to be a lot of similar models, but, once again, is something every brand seems to be doing, so, better accept it.

euhm, you didn't answer the question, what is BMW, you brought it up, not me, doing that's the same? I can't think of it.

And yes, we have to accept this model, we have to accept that it's coming, but that doesn't mean the market will. It's just a feeling I have, these are all very very similar cars and it looks like some of you are trying really hard to point fingers or show "research" just to justify it. Sadly though, those arguments don't sell cars.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
