I'm sure on the S5 in Europe the trip computer shows instant, average per trip and overall average fuel usage, must be different where you are.
Btw love the seats, they look the part though aren't they the same as the S5 seats, didn't you consider the Recaro Sports seats or weren't they an available option though very pricy?
2) The are manual seats. Ie screw a knob to move the backrest back, lift a lever between your legs to move the chair back and forth etc 3) They cost even more if you specify that you want in black and red trim 4) The rear seats stay all black. To get them to match, you have to pay again to get them done. That is a lot of $$$$ for manual seats. But they look nice though. I did try them out but decided was not worth the money.P.S.
The way you describe the whole driving experience you would think that Audi deliberately steered away from producing something in the mould of either the M3 or Carrera, by the sounds of it this car shouldn't really appeal to the customers of those two cars, is that a fair assessment or am I well wide of the mark?
A S5 or RS5 owner may move across to a M3 cause he wants more thrills.
A BM335i owner may move across to a RS5 cause he likes the looks and all the bells and whistles. I think you are correct. That is why there is such debate with regards to the M3 against the RS5. Somewhere, someone decided that these two cars were competition. Gave Jeremy Clarkson something to talk about also. Except for the fact that both are German, Coupes and similar horses, I don't see how they are competing against each other. A M3 owner will never move across to a RS5. He will fall asleep.A S5 or RS5 owner may move across to a M3 cause he wants more thrills.
A BM335i owner may move across to a RS5 cause he likes the looks and all the bells and whistles.
Hence why everytime I read the reviews, I am dismayed as I think both are great cars intheir own fields that appeal to different people and are not competition for each other.

I'm a bit late here, congrats SS5! Looks amazing, even though you made a big mistake and didn't choose Sepang BlueD

@ss5, sorry for this trouble brought on to your thread. Like I said it's a lovely car and health to drive as we say in the UK.

Sorry man, I was tracking your expectation posts and there ya mentioned black pack, but here I see aluminiuim one, not?![]()

ss5 - Also would like to ask you, if you checked out a beige color interior, is it really looks cool alive or sucks? Thanks!
I did not see the beige colour. We were only offered black or some off white colour which I did not like as it gets dirty quickly. This is for seats.
The off white colour is called pearl silver and it does require a lot of maintaining to look it's best. The beige isn't offered here either so I reckon it must be an Audi exclusive colour but it too will get dirty too quick for my liking.

And the Audi Exclusive is really really expensive. It is almost like they don't want to do it but have to, so they put a ridiculous price on it.![]()
Couldn't agree more but all the manufacturers do it. Frankly it's an option which is the equivelant to throwing money down the drain because it will get you nothing extra come resale.
Car prices here are stupid....
SGD400k (£200k) is stupid for an RS5, I can get a 458 Italia for less than that. I could say I feel sorry for you but then I know how much you guys pay in tax, so I don't!
The super-sport seats with silk nappa leather are standard on the RS5 in the UK (they were an option on my S4), bucket seats on the RS5 are £1735 extra.
And this is in one colour only. If I wanted the two tone red and black......Audi Exclusive. Add it on...$$$We use essential cookies to make this site work, and optional cookies to enhance your experience.
