@Centurion - Luw how has your experience been?
I have over 125Kmiles on my X6 V8. Rebuilt the engine @110kmile when I had to replace the valve stem seals.Excuse my ignorance, but is 72k miles considered a long for a modern BMW V8, or is it just about the car's market value?
When you said engine rebuilt you mean proper cylinder boring, plus oversize piston rings and new bearings everywhere?I have over 125Kmiles on my X6 V8. Rebuilt the engine @110kmile when I had to replace the valve stem seals.
X5 V8 now has 75kmiles.
Australian price list is out for the new X3, no mention of the "40i" version.
xDrive20d – $68,900
xDrive30i – $75,900
xDrive30d – $83,900

No.When you said engine rebuilt you mean proper cylinder boring, plus oversize piston rings and new bearings everywhere?
Why did you have to change the valve stem seals?
Oh here are the starting price for the new Q5 without any optionsSo how does it compare with the Q5 and GLC? I mean, these prices mean very little to non AUS sheeple....
Yes...it is the case for Australian markets, weak engines combined with high prices.Fairly similar then, as expected. Engine lineup is fairly weak for all three over there though...
