Why is this vehicle taken into account everywhere, here, in the Nordschleife record, etc., if it is not really a production car?

Yes, but in my opinion 300 units of a "sedan" like this is specifically done to trick lap times, what I mean is that any manufacturer could do it, has no merit at all, nor does it run in any category to justify a limited edition or It serves as a proper production sedan

Yeah when always a car from Japan was the "fastest" around the track. They were always very BS objective at Best Motoring.

And in the american magazines the american cars are fastest and best. This is an old global problem, I don't think some countries are more neutral than others - we are all more or less equal patriotic.

In general I find German magazines to be more objective than all others. They test the cars thoroughly unlike American magazines. Although I do think SA has a soft spot for Mercedes Benz.
