The question was posed to Johnny Lieberman on Instagram or Twitter, where he confirmed that the Cup2 N2 was used for the road test and the Cup2 R's for the track.

Wanna see the half-mile...

If I remember correctly it was as follows:
1. 720 s 15.6 @ 171 mph
2. Performante 16.3 @ 160.3
3. GT2RS 16.4 @ 163 mph

Seems like they were stunned that the Peeformante passes the GT2RS (attributed, by their estimation, to the active aero)

For me the true winner is the 720s
With normal street tyres he is as fast or faster than its competitor with semi slick tyres on the track (exept gt2 Rs) and out performe them all on the quarter and leaves them in the dust over the 1/2 mile.

Yes, if you only look at the numbers I totally agree with you. The numbers are very impressive, with less grippier tyres it is up there with GT2 and ZR1, and the acceleration without competition. But the rating is not only about the numbers....

Got some juicy IG story info. Please don't post these anywhere else until we get more...IF we get more.

If the above is true that Porsche actually did buy the title, then that says two things: Now we know why Porsche and Ferrari are rarely seen at MT BDC together with their best cars and that Porsche are no better than Ferrari when the internet claims that "Ferrari are cheaters and Porsche aren't". If those claims are legit, then this casts Porsche in whole new light.
