There it is! Its. Bonus, so it isnt in between the contenders i guess, but it was tested in laguna seca! The 918 did it in 1:30 something... Not below 1:30 but hey, the turbo s is a hell of a car and ripping almost 6 secs out of its time is not an easy task!
BTW, NISMO GTR beated the 911 by .10 of a sec only... So really, i dont care! Being it a track ficused car and the 911 a gt... Gotta love the 911!

The 918 did it in 1:30.97. First and only lap. That is amazing.

Oh look... Autocar's darling is slower than the BMW M4, which is faster than the "sportscar of the future" from BMW. f#ck the GT-R and the Camaro, the only thing going for them are their low prices.

M4 and 911 are the best cars in this test. End of f#cking Story.

MT is kinda slow when it comes to uploading vids and updating on their official site.

Some consideration about 918 lap time: 1.30.97
It's a very good performance, but we have to immagine how good could have been its lap time with more practice.
Only one hot lap.
I think 1.30 flat it's possible.
Viper TA lap 1,33.62 with Corsa Tyres and 1.30.78 with slick tyres.
Immagine Porsche 918 with slick tyres. 1.28 - 1.27?????

Many MotorTrend "reviewers" sucks. End of story. Some people writing for this magazine should be fired and I say that not only based on personal opinion, but for objective measures. Exceptions: Randy, Scott, and Carlos are awesome. I'll stop here before I get too mad with MT lol.

Final ranking: 6th place for Fiesta ST.
Not bad considering the group of cars. It was mostly the lack of power compare to the rest that stopped it from going higher up in the rankings according to MT.

My Fiesta is a good girl.

Unfortunately this contest is not about best performance, but about driving pleasure... And for motor trend, seems that the camaro is more enjoyable then the porsche... Even then the 4c!

I would assume that the low price of the Camaro in the states (around $40K as tested with reacaro seats and performance package) had a lot to do with their decision. I was actually surprised that it beat an M4 around the track though. I thought klier said that american muscle cars couldn't do turns?
