Not that many.. Mercedes looks in general is both nice and classy

and Mercedes no, this time it donsn't help the car with a touch of 2 females..
It's still ugly and GREEN :D :eusa_doh:

Amanda Holden came to my school on Tuesday, and the was driven there in a s-class and the driver hit my teachers jag.

Re: Most ugliest Mercedes Ever Produced

I'd go with the C-class sportscoupe...I despise that almost as much as I despise the BMW 3er Ti cars.

The Actros is a sexy truck, actually. The one you posted has "ghey" colors though. :D

Check out the Black Edition!

I saw one once on the Autobahn!! :usa7uh: It was evening and it looks awesome! This chrome grille and the xenon lights made this car so special...:bowdown: The black colour gives also a lot of indivduality to this truck.

I agree that that van thing is not very attractive at all. But can you think of a van that really is? Purpose-built cars like vans/trucks/suvs have different appeal. If they were beautiful machines their purpose would be....?

You raise a good point there. Vans are designed to be only functional. I am fine with the Mercedes van if it is being left alone as a commercial van, but Mercedes crossed the line when they simply added extra seats, windows and painted the bumpers and try to sell it off as a genuine Mercedes passanger car. There shouldn't be a V-class in the 1st place.

Not too long ago I saw two of them behind each other on a local Landstrasse. It was awesome. Such a sweet truck.

How could you guys say the W210 E-Class is ugly? Those quad head lights and that single wiper scream MERCEDES-BENZ all over the world!

My choice would probably be the pre-facelift W163 M-Class. The facelifted ones are not as ugly, but those early ones were just not cool.

Ok so I did a quick history search. More Benzes I dont like.

Hmmmmmm........ interesting

I honestly don't think Mercedes has ever really been very guilty of producing ugly cars.

Once I might have said the Heckflosse models were quite ugly ...but I quite like their quirky looks now.

Wow Andreas! I'd put some of the cars of your list on my list of the mostbeautiful Benzes ever:D The W126 is in eyes THE S-class. Same goes for the W123 being THE E-class.

Anyway, as some of you already said, Mercedes didn't make any really ugly cars. I believe they all had some magic around them, except one:

Hmmm.........

Honestly, I don't like any Mercedes-Benz produced before 1985. On the other hand I would "never" say that any of them are ugly.

I see a lot of R-class "votes", but for the car is I really don't consider it ugly. Not to mention the current line up is one of the best looking in the entire automobile industry.

Just take the W126 or C126... early 1980's, and so wonderful-looking...

Every time I see a C126, I feel my heart bumping, I love that car so much it is incredible. I sure will have one in the future.

Agree about the R-Class, not really ugly. One can find it bad-looking, not ugly.

Mercedes, BMW or Audi never created ugly cars imo, at least not that I can recall (save the C5 A6, with which I have a personal problem it seems, it is the car I hate the most in the entire production from these decades).

Yes, of course...Modern cars are often beautifully designed.

But I like modern cars less and less. They are perfectly made, perfectly engineered, but they lack soul imo.
And in modern cars, everything is fine, precise...The drive is firm and engaging...Perfect, isn't it?

But there is something special in older Mercedes...
The feeling of driving something truly made with love to detail, to every detail...No cost cutting at all, something truly indestructible.
These were engineers cars, made by engineers that loved cars.

And then this simple interior, few buttons, few functions, everything so easy...

The steering, light and vague, allows you to really have only one negligent hand on the steering...The giant, lovely steering wheel...

The ride is sooo soft, with sweet body roll, when you accelerate the hood goes higher...So relaxing to drive, you were just good here, and nothing could happen to you...The car almost drives at your place, you just sit here and enjoy the ride!

These cars had a lot of soul. And they were sooo cool!!! Everything was cool. The look, the ride, the feeling... Today cars are more serious, more rigid, less soft.

Yes I know, it sounds romantic, but it is what I like in old cars. And the C126 is one of my all-time favourite.

I would say, todays cars are the sum of their components. Excellent sum of excellent components. But these old cars were more than that...They had something more.

You don't need to speak of steering feel here, of sharpness of the drivetrain, of horse-power, ... No, you just drive. Don't need more. These words have lost their meaning.

I hope you don't take me for a crazy romantic dreamer now...
