A little trip down memory lane. Cls makes the same journey some 34 years later. We had a 380 with aluminum centra t31’s same style as these. Another nice stock handling pic. I miss pinstripes and other “small” things that just are priceless to me. Like real zebrano and burl wood so on and so forth.
I have a bunch of these in my parents house. In the old days we would load up on brochures at the New York auto show, it was a rite of passage. I’ll share some soon. It will be nice to see the blue, palomino, maroon, and cream interiors with gathered leather on the door panels. The facelift’s horizontal seat cushions and passenger air bag dash design were awesome. A little known trivia fact, the 1991 560 sel featured a three sound horn activated by switch on the lower center console. Felt like a boss in that car. Legend.
