Wait, you did this youself? If so, spectacular work. Really.

As for what the render shows… Not sure.
Thanks mate.
As for the render, I believe it’s pretty much the real deal, but some details might be totally off, for better or worse.
I also think the rear lights will be really similar to the GLC’s. At least the positioning of the logo and the lightbar suggests that.

I mean I tried to be as close to the actual spy shot as possible.
I would say it’s %90 correct.

That actually looks pretty good. Thanks for the effort.

And every little thing will cost no less than 1000 euros. It's like a 2$ IPhone back glass cost 300$. But you have the right to repair)

They're not doing it for serviceability, they're doing it for end of life recyclability - as will any other manufacturer selling cars in Europe be.

I can’t understand why they can’t style them like the ICE cars. You know what you’re working with from outset. It’s not a retrofitted ice car. They can’t design it right from the start? Look at the ICE C and then this.

They can, based on the E EV shape.
However, the C EV was probably too far along to change the rear completely.

They're taking so long to show that car that it's going to lead to a collective sigh and groan no matter what it looks like.

A question that I am asking myself:

I assume that AMG design chief Bastian Baudy had quite a large influence on the exterior/interior design of this vehicle. And now that it has been announced that he will succeed Gorden Wagener as Mercedes-Benz Cars AG design chief, I wonder how this will bode for M-B's fortunes. One would think that the AMG.EA GT sedan as well as the AMG SUV EV will serve a significant halo function. Should these cars fail to appeal, which we cannot be sure of at this point in time, what would be the prospects for the eye-appeal of future M-B vehicles in general ?

These AMG cars and the C EV are probably the make or break cars for Mercedes future trend. Lets hope that they will turn out better than the mediocre covered cars are looking. The devil is in the details, especially the rear of the C EV and the front grill/headlights of the AMG GT EV.

As I said on another thread, all German companies put their money on the Chinese market, where they’re currently steamrolled by the domestic manufacturers.

They simply underestimate the speed of the Chinese manufacturers, how fast they’ve been able to overtake the Germans , how political influence can change the market.
