Maybe some sort of Panoramic iDrive display that is being carried over from the NA5, and then it is being inserted into the G45 prototype.

Out of the current CLAR-WE based vehicles: I20, G45, G6X, G7X and G9X. I think the G45 dashboard has been designed to accommodate and support the Panoramic iDrive display from the beginning, which might be more noticeable when the facelift model arrives. But, due to being developed during the COVID-19 era and, most importantly, before, the Neue Klasse philosophy has become the main priority for BMW. The interior of this G45 generation is unfortunately becoming an obvious cost-cutting exercise, and as well as being the last-of-a-kind G coded Bimmer with the goofy aesthetic that we see to day, before moving forward to the next phase of design language. For instance, the latest NA5, followed by the NA0, ZA0, G50 and so on.

While the newer CLAR-WE based products like the G50, G65, G67 and G84 are being developed with the Panoramic iDrive displays in BMW's mind since day one. So, they are not being retrofitted like the revised G6X, G7X and G9X.

I think it really should have the kidneys like on the ix3, feels like something is missing. Also, the hoff kink like on the 8GC isnt that great either.
