As for the render, I believe it’s pretty much the real deal, but some details might be totally off, for better or worse.
I also think the rear lights will be really similar to the GLC’s. At least the positioning of the logo and the lightbar suggests that.
 
I mean I tried to be as close to the actual spy shot as possible.
I would say it’s %90 correct.

They're not doing it for serviceability, they're doing it for end of life recyclability - as will any other manufacturer selling cars in Europe be.
 
I can’t understand why they can’t style them like the ICE cars. You know what you’re working with from outset. It’s not a retrofitted ice car. They can’t design it right from the start? Look at the ICE C and then this.

They can, based on the E EV shape.
However, the C EV was probably too far along to change the rear completely.
