Screens aren't going anywhere industry wide. All the suppliers are still pushing them and interior designers are finding more and more ways to captivate people with them. It's the UI and the seamless integration of them that will be the differentiating factor moving forward. This is why BMW and several other manufacturers are implementing them into the base of the windshield and some people like Mercedes are creating whole dashboards full of them. Next, we will likely see architectural implementations of them as costs come down.
