C-Class Next generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class to be presented this week

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a series of compact executive cars produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG. Introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range, the C-Class was the smallest model in the marque's line-up until the W168 A-Class arrived in 1997.

The rumor has it that this week Mercedes-Benz will give BMW's best selling sedan, the 3 series, a reason to not sleep well at nights. Going by the name "C-Class" the last 20 years, the latest generation is previewed in a 21-second video, released through MB's YouTube channel. From the very few details that are released through this teaser, it's quite safe to assume that the next C-Class, codenamed W205, will be designed like a baby S-Class.

In any case, even though there are no spy photos of the production version posted online, we already know how the interior will look like (opinions differ on this one), as well as the general dimensions of the exterior, which is not hard to guess, with the latest spotted prototypes. Until the official reveal, stick with our official spy photos and info discussion thread (link) and click more to watch the video in question.
