Any fortune tellers here who can provide a timeline for when the EQ range will look this good?

Back to the future.
They could release that S class coupe today and people would think it looked modern.Any fortune tellers here who can provide a timeline for when the EQ range will look this good?

Amen to thatThey could release that S class coupe today and people would think it looked modern.
Truly a timeless design. One of the best looking cars ever made.

IMO W223 has nothing on the W222. The rear of the W223 is weak and the interior doesn't compare.
Both look good. The w222 hasn’t been date by the w222.IMO W223 has nothing on the W222. The rear of the W223 is weak and the interior doesn't compare.
Sounds good on paper, but I wanna see some receipts. More analogue and better interior ergonomics sounds like a win to me.Some good reading.

I agree. I think they now realize what is at stake. They gotta pull another W222 type moment. A car that steamrolled the segment.Sounds good on paper, but I wanna see some receipts. More analogue and better interior ergonomics sounds like a win to me.
You cannot tell me if you rolled up in a W222 facelift, and people wouldn't think it's a brand new 2024 car. It's contemporary excellence. The interior was so good that other manufacturers like Audi and BMW and .... Well pretty much everyone, are adopting the dual threaded displays approach to InfotainmentI agree. Yeah it was a landmark S-Class. In the USA it outsold the Audi A8, BMW 7-Series and Lexus LS combined in that first year. Let that sink in for a second. I love the W223 even more personally, but it didn't move the segment onward like the W222 did. I would not want the task of deciding what to do about the S and EQS resplacement/next S-Class. 2028 must seem like it's right around the corner to MB engineers and product planners. You cannot tell me if you rolled up in a W222 facelift, and people wouldn't think it's a brand new 2024 car. The W223 just needs to be a little less fussy in the front and rear graphics. And of course the interior with the iPad was a big mistake in my opinion. there is a halfway between the super screen and the old dual displays that would work excellently.Yeah it was a landmark S-Class. Less fussy? more classic maybe? there would be something to seeThe W223 just needs to be a little less fussy in the front and rear graphics.
I remember that the majority liked it, the way it was implemented was a "success", and I count myself among those who had their mouths open, it also proved to be a little tiring and looked somewhat dated over time, given the invasion of the format, (a thing they should have thought about)And of course the interior with the iPad was a big mistake in my opinion.
