I think more like this

I feel like they’re gonna interpret those 3 circles graphics to the actual car. It would be cool and something different for the brand. No more light bars at the rear please.
Would you be so kind to do a render mixing this and the spy pics?

Winter testing the future electric performance platform AMG.EA in Sweden
  • Cold weather tests performed close to the Arctic Circle at temperatures as low as ‑25 degrees Celsius
  • Heavily camouflaged car provides few hints to future design
The first dedicated electric vehicle architecture developed by Mercedes‑AMG is currently undergoing its initial winter testing in northern Sweden. The performance platform AMG.EA (AMG Electric Architecture) will be subjected to an intensive testing program, putting individual components as well as the system as a whole through their paces. AMG.EA is still at the beginning of a demanding and comprehensive test plan, which will span multiple proving grounds, continents and climate zones.

The future architecture is a technological trailblazer which will pioneer a number of new innovations. The AMG.EA drive concept is based on axial-flux motor technology, which offers an unparalleled mix of power density, size, and weight. The innovative power unit operates in conjunction with a new high-performance high-voltage battery.

The picture shows AMG.EA on a frozen lake, part of the Mercedes‑Benz proving ground in Sweden.

The EQ XX is absolutely amazing. With crazy tech.
Even the light bar on the concept's rear looks fantastic.

It's proof that an aerodynamic car needn't be a big bubble

This concept wasn't needed for such a basic statement, obviously a bubble less less good for aero. But it's a hell of a lot better for the living space inside.

Do we think the Germans will manage to surpass other manufacturers in terms of EV drivetrain tech, or is the technology far too homogenised for clear superiority amongst any of the manufacturers?

Looks like the EQE has had a bit impact on EQS sales. Makes sense, because unless you need the gigantic boot of the EQS and a little bit of extra rear space, there appears to be little difference between the two in terms of tangible quality and drive experience. The EQS is simply not an S.

Definitely not the best render but this is the best you can get at 4 AM in the morning 🤣🙏🏻

This has a lot of potential. Like some others are saying, the fake grille of the concept is the only silly design element IMO.

Thanks a lot mate!

I really f#cking hope they don't put a giant screen to replace all the lovely buttons in the G-wagen.
The EQG spy shots show same screen as existing! Will be amazed if it even gets digital light function.
I think the upgrade is going to be very similar to the Gt63s 4 door facelift. Mbux and a different front air intake... But this one will look much better unlike the gt! And much better fuel consumption.
