They are one of those key moments in history, Brunos Sacco's, Paul Braq's are not born every day, professional tunings were born, talent everywhere, there was a great desire to live fully, do and try new things that proved to overcome timeThis might be I am getting old but, if this thread proves anything, is that cars were cooler before.
The earlier models with black bumpers/mirrors and old pattern stripped MB-Tex seats looked alot more basic than the FL models that came out in 1990. I prefer the FL models as they had nicer body colour bumpers/mirrors and door lower panels and then the seats had the pleated soft leather and were softer and more comfortable than the earlier seats which were very springy and bouncy.
It's nice, but it's one year short. The 1990 facelift did wonders for the car's looks inside and out, and made it far more luxurious.

What they did in that LCI with the bodywork was really innovative, "lining" the entire lower half of the bodywork!, which gave it that very modern, even more luxurious look and so current to this day, perfecting something that seemed unbeatable but without changing one cm. of the shape of the body,The earlier models with black bumpers/mirrors and old pattern stripped MB-Tex seats looked alot more basic than the FL models that came out in 1990. This 1990 300E is probably the perfect colour and interior spec.
