A small nostalgic comparison between the new SL65 AMG Black Series and its spiritual forerunner, the 450SLC "Mampe". Not much to report here. You can tell by looking at the technical data how much technology has improved etc.

I've always loved the Mercedes SLC, which is basically the ancestor to the modern-day CL. It's one of those "forgotten Mercedes" that nobody cares about anymore. Such a shame, they're so pimp. I love 'em.

A long introduction about the SL65 AMG Black Series which everyone here has read about in the official press release, then a few words on how the V12 sounds and then only a small detail about the 450SLC in that it won a race at the Nürburgring and was one of the "Nordschleife Kings" during its short-lived career. That's it. Pretty lame review but the pictures are cool.
