wow damn man the SL just got hotter.. and i thought it wasent possible.. by far the best lookin roadster in the world.. (besides zonda roadster that is)..
and it has the new 500 engine.. and the SL 55 is now 517hp

The SL was already one of the best looking cars imo, I don't see any obvious changes except for some lower body work and tail lights. I guess MB is just making a sexy car more aggressive, it looks fantastic!

The Artist: interesting info u posted there ... how did they enhance the acceleration ? did they manage to reduce its weight or use the 7G-Tronic ? curious to know

Wasn't the pre F/L SL500 already available with the 7G-tronic when it was introduced? I thought it was.

still no 7G in sl55....

but the compression of the kompressor might be increased to get the 517ps....or the exhausts modified....who know...

I like the new rear's lights a lot...are the wheels the same? I'm in the doubt

My favorite part of the FL is the front bumper. I have always though that the SL500 doesn't look aggressive enough compared with the AMG versions. Great job MB.

the rimms are diffrent..

and i guess they decreased the acceleration with the xtra 17hp..

Acceleration won't be that much different at all though, 17 hp is more for show IMO. Still, the SL55 is a very fast car, 4.5sec is probably conservative...

And it looks better than ever!

Also, I can't wait for the FL V8 engine to hit the US, definitely make the SL500/550 a much more viable car to buy, the old 302hp V8 seemed a little weak compared to other vehicles in its class.
