SL-Class Mercedes-Benz SL facelift pictures...

The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class (marketed as Mercedes-AMG SL since 2022) is a grand touring sports car manufactured by Mercedes-Benz since 1954. The designation "SL" derives from the German term "Sport-Leicht", which translates to "Sport Light" in English.

Generally when Mercedes says this it means any SL order placed after that date will result in you getting a FL model and/or that the FL model order book is open from that date. It is just a technicality really because unless you take a SL from dealer/port stock they aren't going to be building the old model within 4-5 weeks of that date given. In short the FL model is already in production or about to go into production as week speak. By the time it is shown, likely March they'll have enough produced to ship around the world.

I hope this clears it up some because I almost got lost typing it....lol.

wow big command..ive allready seen that.. in SL´s.. but paddles cool:D

I hope they dont change this car much its allready near perfect..

well you have the larger command screen.. and the paddles instead of buttons behind the steering.. and that flap button thingy behind the gearknob is silver now maybe aluminum it was black plastic before..

Comparison pictures:

As far as I can tell, the (small) differences are:

- Different kind of paddles behind the steering wheel.

- The switch behind the gearlever for the vario roof, was black plastic before, now silver as The Artist pointed out.
Good chance that's aluminum if it wants to match the quality feel in the new S-class.

- The digital clock above the center airvents.
The display seems wider. Probably it's now a fully matrix display, I guess.

- No more ribbles on airvents above the center console and on the digital clock.

The comand screen seems to be the same as far as I can tell.
Maybe some other differences that cannot be seen in these particular spy photo's are probably the switches for the windows and seats adjustments, it's possible that those are crafted in aluminum as well just like the switch for the vario roof and like the switches in the new S-class. Just a guess though.
