Maybe laws against violating private property? The threat of jail time? Monetary damages?
I doubt it, look at autospies releasing the W221 before anyone else and then the W223 I think in a scrap yard somewhere. In todays world, you only have to take the picture and send it to someone else and it's their problem.
I read an article tonight, Daily Telegraph UK - so one of the few decent papers.....a farmers son drove his fathers Aston Martin 800 metres from his house, drunk, over the limit, crashed - something like a ÂŁ100 fine. On the other hand, an old lady folded some clothes and put them in a charity clothes bank. Because she folded them, ÂŁ500 fine

I think half of the photos we see are released to keep us interested. If they didn't want them photographing, they wouldn't park them and leave them unprotected for that very reason....then again, may be it's extra adhesive, am sure they do portable heatguns :D

Interior changes will be substantial.
I just hope they don’t make it a carbon copy of the E’s super screen and call it a day. With accountants currently running MB, one can’t rule that route out unfortunately.

Although it’s nice in the E, just placing it in the S without modification will cheapen the ambiance.

Although I wasn’t a fan of the interior upon reveal, the interior of the W223 has fully grown on me.

I love the W223 interior as is, aside from wishing we had the option of a non gloss black console, and I hope the new screen incorporation is stylistically suitable.

I hope they will incorporate a hood over the instrument cluster, and somehow hide/mask the ghastly heads up display setup behind it. I am still dismayed at the need for a passenger screen in cars, but I am curious what they will do if not copy/pasting the E setup.

@Pagani I think it will be a copy and paste of the class and, to see so to speak something different you have to wait for the cla class and c class, even if from the spy photos it won't be a total revolution, usual elongated screen on the passenger side...

I've heard a rumor in our dealership that Mercedes will introduce a new steering wheel with physical buttons in the upcoming year or two. It is quite possible the first model to have it would be the S class facelift
That would be a step forward. Physical button should come back.
