S-Class (W222) Mercedes-Benz S 600 (V222)

The Mercedes-Benz W222 is the sixth generation of the Mercedes Benz S-Class produced from 2013 to 2020, serving as the successor to the W221 S-Class and predecessor to the W223 S-Class. The W222 has a similar design theme to the C-Class (W205) and E-Class (W213).

They have kinda made the S600 a non even. A very quiet reveal. I wish it had the correct 2015 interior features.

Very nice but the wheels don't seem to make the car stand out like previous S600 models. Was the official power/torque and performance figures revealed?

"The S600 ditches the previous 5.5-liter V-12 in favor of a version of the S65's twin-turbo 6.0-liter, which produces 523 hp and 612 lb-ft of torque."

Yeah it doesn't even have the same wheels as the S600 on the wall behind it. I wish they would have shown the complete/updated car.

How come in some of those shots it has those extra chrome details along the side and rear bumper (behind the rear wheels), but in other shots it's absent?

Yeah its a mess. It is like one is the true S600 and the other is a S550 with a S600 badge on it, right down to the S550 wheels. The one with the chrome an more intricate wheels is the real S600 IMO. The other car is not a full on S600. Or, just maybe there is a trim package to go with those other wheels?

shit that interior is stupid.. can't wait to see the rest of the designo line up..

Exterior wise it oozes elegance and superiority .. amazing that it has such a different aura compared to the lesser S classes, despite the very subtle differences..

Love it..through and through..

Long live the big body V12 benz!

Looking at these images, I don't think the S600 has a different aura to the lesser S-class models. It looks the same, and the V12 badge doesn't really add much. That being said, the lesser S-class models are still downright gorgeous and ooze class and sophistication. Saw one at a local motorshow... oh my... personal crisis.. I actually really wanted a Benz! So beautiful!

Maybe they're saving the real foshizzle dizzle for the Pullman.

But i think it does have a different aura.. not to take anything away from the lesser 222s..
The wheels, exaust tips and grill set off the exterior in a very subtle and nice way i like it..
And interior is just another type of crazy..and the normal 222s interior is already beyond everything else in the segment.

so i think they have done enough..and done it very well with the 600..

Those that know WILL know..when there is a 600 rolling past;)..
