Should we assume it will be on the stand at Geneva along with the FL SL?

M

Not necessarily. The CLK facelift was announced mid-april and launched in June. I reckon the same will happen for the E class.

Just_me didn't tell you, but I was hiding behind the car w/ a Louisville slugger in that pic... Just_me looks nothing like what you see in the pic here....

haha, j/k

New spy picture of the facelifted E-class.
Only some minor changes like:
- the mirrors
- the front bumper
- new rims
- chrome rings around the foglights.....at least so it appears to me.

It could be just me or just an illusion but it look like the front bumper has a right 'cheek'? But strangely it does not has it on the left side of the front bumper.
The 'cheek' does kind of remind me of Huckfeldt's impression of the next generation E-class. I think it's pretty interesting.
I don't know....it's also possible that it's a crack in the front bumper due an incident.

The grill looks a lot sharper and reminds me of the one that on the new C-class.

The turn signals in the headlights look different.
Any pics of the interior?

The grill is HUGE! I also see that cheek and think it is also on the right just doesn't show as much because of the angle... The mirrors are like no other MB mirror also. Looks interesting....

Great spy pic! Looks alot sharper from the front :usa7uh:

This pic actually reminds me of the huckfeldt impression on the next gen E class

I hope they did something with the rear to spicen it up a bit, because to be honest I had no problems with the front.

those new mirrors look ugly, but i guess they changed it due to owners complaining about massive blind spots on the driver side. The front looks aggressive, but a bit Korean car like

Dude, you're right on point! The grille has once again become one the most prominent traits in the designs of the latest MB's and I LOVE it. It's so menacing when you see a new S-class from the front, the grill is large and imposing and it demands you notice it, a great car for the confident minds set, everyone always takes notice to the confident. Notice that this grill has sharp proportions and sharply defined slats, uber cool! I can only imagine hwo the E63 will look w/ an already great looking base model to compliment.

Other than the shape of the lights I do some similarities between this PS and the latest pictures! The grill is big and aggressive like the PS and the bumpers seem to have that part sticking out also... Should be interesting!

Not to pick on you in particular, but this Korean car stuff kills me. If a Benz has any Korean in it (which it doesn't IMO) it is because the Koreans shamelessly steal and copy any everthing from German brands, more so than the Japanese now. What is Mercedes to do, walk away from their own designs by not evolving the styling cues they originated? I think not.

Yes I do know that, but I also see some similarities... like the grill and the protrusions in the bumper...
