The new Autobild has a an almost exact impression of the new BMW Compact. The face is something similar that will be seen on the next 1er Coupe and Cabrio.

The resemblance to the front end of the legendary 1600/2 is intentional, n'est pas ?

Whatever, it's looking quite promising.

The shape is more wedged than typical hatch. The roof slopes down towards the rear with a shallow screen.

2012 model X6 is supposed to be LCI X6. 2011 MY X6 was out in spring 2010. How come we have not seen any LCI X6 spy shots yet?
Or the LCI is so slight that Palbay can't notice them.

While secretly hoping that the product approval committee (or whatever that particular department may be called) prove me wrong, I reckon that the CS Concept as we know it is dead and gone. It was introduced about 4 years ago and many of its' styling elements have been integrated onto current BMW production cars. The CS Concept has apparently served its' purpose and I would guess that BMW has let it pass. I presume that the upcoming 4 door 6-series car will assume the position that may have originally been intended for a production CS. Perhaps BMW will fit a version of the 544HP V12 into the 6ers' engine bay and let that serve as the marques halo car.

Who knows ?

Yes I apologise, I will get moving as soon as possible. I am finishing off our Geneva announcements with MINI before flying to Cape Town , South Africa for a film/photo shoot early in February.

No sign yet of any X6 facelift. I've been studying every X6 I see....no discernible changes to the front or rear fascia's on the X6's I see around. Maybe they simply have not shown their face yet. I hope they will break cover soon.Thanks PalBay

I see that SCOTT27s' avatar is the AMuS rendering of the upcoming 6 series 4 door coupe.

It's just my personal opinion but: I certainly hope that this particular rendering is not accurate.

A bit weird....but maybe the FL is so small (and only optical), they don't have to do extensive testing. The car already has most of the 'new' engines, so maybe they just give the car lava backlights, LED corona rings, a slightly different bumper, some minor interior upgrades and be done with it...

X6 LCI will appear one day as a surprise, with revise front and rear lights graphics and that´s it. Blue coronas instead of yellow, and lava tubes for the rearlights. I would like a hole new speedo with the same tech as the 7er and 6er, but doubt they will put the effort on that.

X6 LCI is going to be one of the smallest of the recent BMWs, and no complais here about that.

and i am very very curious. at max-diamand-str. everybody is getting tight-lipped when asking for the geneva concept. but i think the next days we will see pics in the press protal. geneva is not far away

I seen it the other day whilst it was undergoing some final photography with some representitives of the media.
I think you will like it....

It is purely to gauge reaction on whether a concept like this can appeal and easily fit within the MINI brand.
Having said that , the MINI Paceman Concept finally got the go-ahead in the short period the first pictures were released by looking at the respective MINI Forums such as Motoring File , Big Blogg (of course,, total MINI , MINI 2 , North American Motoring , New MINI etc,etc. that the reaction proved favourable amongst MINI supporters.

sounds great and after the big MINIs (cm and paceman) the mini MINI will be the right sign for a sustainable future of the brand. who wants to drive Smarts or iQs as mega city vehicle?
