F-Type Jaguar F-Type burns to the ground

The Jaguar F-Type (X152) is a series of two-door, two-seater sports cars manufactured by British car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover under their Jaguar Cars marque from 2013 to 2024. The car's JLR D6a platform is based on a shortened version of the XK's platform. It is the so-called "spiritual successor" to the E-Type.

Car reportedly had just 5,000 km on the odometer
The Jaguar F-Type continues to be a hot commodity as another one has burst into flames.

The latest fire took place earlier this month in Germany when a 26 year old driver heard a "violent explosion" under the hood. Shortly thereafter, flames became visible and the driver steered the car onto the shoulder and managed to escape unharmed along with a passenger.

According to local reports, the car was a rental with just 5,000 km (3,106 miles) on the odometer. There's no word on what caused the blaze but it's a total loss despite a quick response from fire fighters.

Thanks to Andreas for the tip!

There was another F type burning incident that was reported a while ago in Belgium. Hope they sort out the problem if its related to the car and not the driver. However, it appears that the issue is with the car.
