The main problem of this car is weight, for its size. It is always a bad thing to make a small sportscar based on a larger platform: this F-Type based on XK, 1/2 Coupe based on 3/4 Coupe, 350Z/370Z based on G35/G37, Vantage (2005/2018) on DB9/DB11, Alfa 8C on Maserati GranTurismo, etc....

Cars build from scratch with the intended purpose have no this problem: Alfa 4C, Mazda MX-5, Alpine A110, Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ, Porsche 718/911.
