Yaris [Hot!] Toyota GR Yaris


The Toyota Yaris is a supermini/subcompact car sold by Toyota since 1999, replacing the Starlet and Tercel.

The vents on the front wings don't appear to be fake. Can we expect a 20-40hp power bump?

Six-speed manual transmission;
Expected to be launched in August 2022.
I cannot wait for this car. A genuine and practical alternative to European hot hatches.
 
The weird thing is that we haven't seen any test prototypes of the GR Corolla yet.
Toyota is generally good at keeping their prototypes well hidden from prying eyes, especially during the early portion of prototype testing.
 
Can I legally buy and register it in Mexico and just drive it in the US? I think Mexican and Canadian cars only get 6 months top to be in the US, otherwise they gotta register it.
 
Went to test a Yaris Hybrid (VW Polo all the way for me, which feels a full class above Yaris despite costing the same), but spotted this for the first time:
