Spectre [Hot!] Rolls-Royce 'Spectre' EV

The Rolls-Royce Spectre is a full-sized luxury electric grand tourer manufactured by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. The first deliveries of the car were made in the last quarter of 2023. It is Rolls-Royce's first electric vehicle (EV) and rides on the same platform as the Phantom and Cullinan.

Lol. What's with "fun to drive" in the title. It's like doing a video about whether a kangaroo is good at swimming or shark is good at climbing.

Every video I've seen claims it's fun to drive. It's not a car to sit in the back after all, this is a Rolls to be driven by the owner. And with 4 wheel steering, ample power and a low centre of gravity, I suspect these reviewers are right.

It’s a good looking car but the Cabrio runs the risk of looking like a bathtub because the car is so tall and bulky. Can’t wait to see it tho.

Yeah baby

In December 2021, Mercedes-Benz was the first automotive manufacturer worldwide to secure internationally valid system approval for conditionally automated driving (SAE Level 3)

The point was that RR seems like a perfect fit for this tech and they have it in-house too.

And more advanced than what MB has, which seems to piss you off.

:unsure::unsure: It's true that I get angry when I see BMW's stupid "first" news. If it was better than Mercedes in this regard, it would be the first company to launch Level 3. So your opinion does not reflect reality.

You're rambling. And what I posted are facts. You not being able to cope sure as hell isn't my problem.

Regulations for specific systems classified at specific SAE levels shouldn't be mistaken for full vehicle competency at that SAE level.

SAE Levels define the division of responsibilities for car control - but not the the operational design domain (i.e. the specifics of the scenario or the systems involved).

Mercedes only speak of Level 3 in the context of UN Regulation 157, which only applies to the operational design domain of automated lane keeping activities (in specific highway scenarios i.e. physically separated carriageways). It's misleading to simply call the car level 3, as the implication is that the car will function autonomously in any scenario with the level 3 division of responsibilities... which it can't.

Tl;dr until we get to Level 5 the car isn't Level 2, 3, or 4, the systems are. At level 5 the car is responsible for all ODD's, essentially fully encompassing all systems and scenarios.
