It might just be me but the W1 simply doesn't look exotic enough to justify it's existence. It's just a rather ho hum extension of the existing McLaren range. Fancy paint jobs aren't enough, which MSO will do on any McLaren.

I agree, W1 isn't nearly special enough compared to the marker that P1 put down. I feel it's pretty generic - something that one could never say about the gorgeously svelte P1.

Mclaren haven't quite nailed design language yet. The 720 was unique but they haven't been able to produce another unique or revolutionary design. At least they are not copying ferrari or Lambo.
