M2 [Hot!] BMW M2 (2022) G87

The BMW M2 is a high-performance version of the BMW 2 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. As the 2 Series replaced the 1 Series coupé and convertible models, the first-generation M2 was marketed as the most basic M model in the range. Official website: BMW M
How horrible is the square front of the M2, BMW is crazy, how is it going to have such geometric shapes on the front bumper....disgusting, it's ugly, blah, blah,

Porsche two years later:

Since I can remember, I have never before seen so much ignorance in terms of appreciating things, in addition to the lack of nobility to recognize when it is already evident that BMW sets the standard in design, even though the social media generation does not understand it. at first

Vostainer....the M2 is a favorite among tunners, surely due to the existing demand, favorite I say, because of the high level of detail and craftmanship, although a little too busy for my taste

During yesterday management présentation they shown a m2 new model mid -2024 … FL ? Or CS version ?

One of the best things about the M2 is that it has, it has that feeling of the well-made GTI's, Lancer EVO, Impreza STI, etc. for a start. It represents the brand almost as much as the roundel, an ultra-modern sports car that clings with great force to all the wonderful coupes that preceded it, it plays retro but it is not, it is alone in a full showroom; when you see it in those plain colors, you don't see anything anything else surrounding it

*I couldn't find the right thread for this, the predecessor and the ancestor at the same time:
Roadandtrack about the 1M

The market has spoken. The 1M is a beloved modern totem. With a few years more behind it, there will be no way to deny that it’s a classic.

Don Quixote imagined his inspiration and ideal woman as Dulcinea. He didn’t end up with Dulcinea because Dulcinea wasn’t real. Very few of us will wind up with our Dulcinea. There’s not even a single Ferrari or Lambo or pristine 1969 Camaro Z/28 in our garage. We end up with, if we’re lucky, something like the person to whom we’re married. Someone we can cherish through thick and thin, whose flaws are obvious but can be overcome. The 1M is the real thing; not perfect, not exotic, but worth the sacrifice to attain. Not Dulcinea, but a reality to love.

Wouldn't it be nice to see it race in the World Rally Championship?, four-wheel drive, correct size, it would be a pleasure, to live again in the middle of so many hatchbacks.

You just have to see this one with the white wheels, what a nice spec!!!

With the Rally1 regs now in force it really doesn't matter. Spec engine and tube frame chassis, it'd probably end up looking like a Mitjet.

Verdict of the comparison test between a manual M2 vs AMG A45 S in the latest Evo magazine:

Rally with an M2:)

Put an e30 M3 prodrive rally car next to a new M2. Then you understand!

Surely you say it because of the excellent four-wheel drive of the E30 M3

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
