So the dashboard with the big wood inlay I wished for the i4 (like the concept had) found its way into the X7. Looks great!

That's a deep facelift !
Exterior is quite interesting and modern looking... maybe not "BMW" enough for the lights. And and illuminated kidney grille ?! Come on ! I'm curious to see also how it looks with main headlights on in addition to the daytime running lights.
I still don't like the circle part of the flatscreen dashboard integration :

New front, new dashboard and new engines! These changes are so big, that they are bigger than most other on compleyely new models.
And I like what I see

My only criticism of the the cabin is that the 6 year old steering makes it look a bit dated. The 2 Series Active Tourer and iX have newer steering wheels.

Agreed. I don’t get why BMW didn’t just give it a new steering wheel seeing how much of an extensive facelift this is. This could pass for a new car .

Seems like the M60i will get the cross bank manifold which could potentially mean it will lose that V8 burble the M50i had. The M50is sounded better than the true M cars IMO.
