Here is a shot while at a rest stop in Utah. More to come as well as the fantastic ride on the grades and curves in Colorado. It was unbelievable!

Thanks. I hope you will be routing for the middies...Yes the path from LV to Denver is a nice trip, I am looking forward to a round trip in OctoberGoing to the USNA at Air Farce football game.
Is there a poll on your steet: what car you will have next?
It looks nice![]()
Thanks... I have the chrome handles guards to prevent the black color from showing scratches and smudges on the paintwork. I think the black wheel caps really help set off the rims. It's just gorgeous... A splendid vehicle.
Only thing is, I don't really like the chrome on the handles. But colour, rims, all suits this wonderful car soo well... I think you won't sell this one until some long time!
Thanks wimmer! It is truly a fun car to drive. The ride back was the best I ever had on that 750 mile jaunt in one day. There are so many great stretches of curves and up and down grades at high elevations to play with. There is one called Glenrock Canyon and it is 13 miles of separated dual lane highway. The east and west roads are separated and at different levels and the scenery is spectacular with the Colorado river white rapids running next to the roadway.Man, I am soooooooooooo jealous now! The SL was always one of the most fun to drive MBs! Congrats!![]()
Nice pictures! How about some HDR pictures in the desert?![]()
