I think, it looks great - maybe these rims will look better, but the car looks already stunning. So no really need for these 55 rims. That's my opinion.

But the Sl 55 rims have a more sleek appearance and fill the arches more, but then again you will loose the ride comfort

Yeah... they are pretty wheels, but I like the present ones. And as you mention above, the ride would suffer some and I really don't want to firm it up any more than it is.

This is as close as I got to the snow with the SL except for about 50' when I pulled off the road to shoot a pic or two. No problems in the 3-4 inches for all 50'...

Thanks...I have a full time maid in the garage who keeps it looking nice...)))

Seriously, Las Vegas is pretty easy to keep it looking nice all the time. I use a California Duster most of the time, have it washed about every two to three weeks and the only water spots are from the sprinkler run off which make puddles in some spots. Also, unless I shoot close-ups the "dirt" just doesn't show up in the images.
