Global sales November 2006: Audi, BMW, MB.

Audi won't be making minivans anytime soon though.

I'm not so sure. Sooner or later they will launch a Sportback of eg. A4, A6 or even A8.

Also Q5 compact SUV is coming, and Q6 SAC will be there as well in the future ...

A5 coupe & cabrio, A7 coupe & cabrio, A3 cabrio, A1 ...

BMW: 1er 3dr hatch, 2er coupe & cabrio, F5 & F3 sports tourer, X6 SAC, Z8 roadster/coupe, 8er/9er large 4dr coupe, possible X4 SAC, 1er sedan, 2er shooting brake, ...

MB: GLK compact SUV, GLC SAC, mid-engined car (SLS?), rumoured CLS Shooting Brake, ...

Audi have a largest gap to fill, BMW also. MB on the other hand have quite full model line already (only GLC & GLK are high-volume sellers).

i belive we should compare new modells to new.. and for now it looks like C vs X5..
ohh and isnt the CLK and CLK cabrio up soon?

1er 3dr will be a new car. Adding few 10k units to the existing 1er sales.

GLK are coming in 2008, while current W209 CLK was launched in 2003, so expect a new one in 2009, or 2010.

is it possible to get the same data for lexus and some other luxury brands so we can compare how the german are doin compare with the rest of the world.

Lexus, Infiniti & Acura are still not global players (so their sales are limited), while Jaguar sales are marginal. So are Saab numbers. Volvo is not a premium car maker. Or is it? :D
